Born January 24th, 1982.. This semi-androgynous goth gal freakjob has seen and survived many things over
the course of her life..
A rather twisted individual with an affinity for alcohol, furry things, oddly colored nail polish, video games, horror/slasher films, animals, loud music, graveyards, and other dark creepy shit...
But an equal disdain for ignorance, annoyance, government, oppression and generally being bossed around..
Don't try to tell Zee what to do unless you have a damn good bribe ready for motivation..
(Commission money for example.. =P )
Zee is equal parts flighty artist and techno geek.. Somewhat resulting in the right and left hemispheres of her brain being in a perpetual state of tug-of-war.. Though the more artsy side often wins..
Although Zee had extensive computer knowledge and existing artistic ability since the age of 16 or so..
She entered college around 2004, spending 2 and a half years immersed in everything from graphics and
digital media, to classical drawing and animation, to 3D modeling and animation.
Finally graduating at the top of her class with full honors.
What has this ended up meaning to her in the long run?.. Precisely dick squat..
After entering the graphics and print industry and holding down a job for about 2 years... It became quite distasteful.. Finally deciding to go freelance, avoiding working for someone else full time when it comes anything artistic or technical for the most part..
Lastly, why is Zee talking in the third person?.. Because it amuses her..

I wanted a place on the web where I could post what I want, when I want, HOW I want...
And I wasn't getting that with my other old website and professional portfolio site, largely due to the fact I don't want to freak out my family, who was aware of my old site.. Or scare off some of the more faint hearted potential employers out there... This is kind of my 'real' portfolio... No censorship, no holding back..
This is the REAL me, uncut, unleashed...
That and the idea amused me.. |
